Can you deliver to an apartment complex or gated community in DeKalb?

Plenty of Brookhaven and Dunwoody moves happen in a large complex or a gated community with a leasing office and access gates. Some ask for a certificate of insurance before a delivery truck comes through. Tell us the access details and reserve any move-in slot with management, and we will drop off inside that window.

Do the bins survive DeKalb’s heat and humidity?

They do far better than cardboard. A damp box left on a porch in July sags and splits; the sealed bins shrug off humidity and a sudden thunderstorm between your door and the truck. That matters through most of a Georgia summer.

How far around DeKalb County do you deliver?

Delivery and pickup are included across DeKalb, from Decatur and the Emory area out to Brookhaven, Dunwoody, Tucker, Chamblee, and Stone Mountain. We also reach next-door Fulton and the wider Atlanta metro. Anything well past that gets a mileage quote before you book.

How many bins do I need for an apartment versus a house?

A one-bedroom apartment near Decatur usually fits our Studio or 1-Bedroom bundle. A full house in Dunwoody or Tucker needs more. If you land between two sizes, size up. It is easier to send back a few empties than to run out mid-move.

Do I need to arrange parking for delivery?

In older parts of Decatur and around Emory the street parking fills up, so a clear spot near the door speeds up drop-off. We do not handle parking permits, so line up a space ahead of your window. A driveway or a held spot by the entrance is ideal for the driver.

Is there a delivery or pick-up fee in Dekalb?

Stack charges a delivery and pickup fee based on your distance if you’re within a certain radius of Dekalb. If delivery and/or pick-up is outside of Dekalb zone, just let us know and we will provide the cost of gas & time.

Do I need to be present for delivery + pick-up?

Yes, in most cases someone over the age of 18 needs to be present to sign for and accept the delivery of moving box rentals in Dekalb. If for some reason you will not be present, let us know in advance and we may be able to work out a special delivery if there is a safe space to leave the boxes and dollies.

How big are the bins?

Each standard size bin is equivalent to a large cardboard box and measures 27” by 17” at the top, 24.5” by 14.5” at the bottom, and 13” tall. In our experience, this is the perfect size box for any Dekalb move!

What happens if I want to extend my rental?

No problem! Simply let our Dekalb team know before the pick-up date that you need to extend the rental window, and by how long, and we’ll make it happen. You will simply be charged extra for every week that you keep the boxes beyond what you’ve already paid for.

What is the cancellation policy?

You can cancel your order anytime up to 48 hours before the pre-scheduled delivery date for free. If you need to cancel within less than 48 hours notice, there is a $50 convenience fee. If you have already received the boxes and need to cancel your order post-delivery, that is fine too, we simply charge a $99 re-stocking fee.

Does Stack deliver inside my home?
Nope! Stack is a door to door delivery service. That means we drop off your items at the nearest accessible point outside your home or apartment—typically your driveway, garage, or the door to your unit. We don’t carry items inside your home or apartment.
