Can you deliver to a gated community or apartment in Polk?

Plenty of Lakeland and Winter Haven moves happen in a gated community or a larger apartment complex with a front gate and a leasing office. Stack drops the bins off, so give the office or gate your delivery window and we’ll pull right in. Tell us the building and unit so the driver comes ready.

Do the bins hold up in Polk’s heat and humidity?

They hold up better than cardboard. A box left out in an August afternoon sags and loses its shape; the sealed plastic bins don’t. Through hurricane season from June to November, the latching lids keep a sudden downpour off your things between the door and the truck.

How far around Polk County do you deliver?

Delivery and pickup are included across the county, from Lakeland and Winter Haven out to Bartow, Haines City, Auburndale, and Davenport. Addresses well past the county line get a mileage quote up front, before you book.

How many bins do I need for an apartment versus a house?

A one-bedroom apartment in Lakeland usually fits our Studio or 1-Bedroom bundle. A full house in Winter Haven or Auburndale needs more. If you’re between sizes, size up. Returning a couple of empty bins beats running short mid-move.

Do I need to arrange parking for the delivery truck?

Most Polk homes have a driveway, so the drop is easy. In a gated community, give the gate our delivery window so the truck gets waved through. We don’t pull parking permits, so a clear spot by the door is all we need.

Is there a delivery or pick-up fee in Polk?

Stack charges a delivery and pickup fee based on your distance if you’re within a certain radius of Polk. If delivery and/or pick-up is outside of Polk zone, just let us know and we will provide the cost of gas & time.

Do I need to be present for delivery + pick-up?

Yes, in most cases someone over the age of 18 needs to be present to sign for and accept the delivery of moving box rentals in Polk. What happens if I want to extend my rental?

No problem! Simply let our Polk team know before the pick-up date that you need to extend the rental window, and by how long, and we’ll make it happen. You will simply be charged extra for every week that you keep the boxes beyond what you’ve already paid for.

What is the cancellation policy?

You can cancel your order anytime up to 48 hours before the pre-scheduled delivery date for free. If you need to cancel within less than 48 hours notice, there is a $50 convenience fee. If you have already received the boxes and need to cancel your order post-delivery, that is fine too, we simply charge a $99 re-stocking fee.

Does Stack deliver inside my home?
Nope! Stack is a door to door delivery service. That means we drop off your items at the nearest accessible point outside your home or apartment—typically your driveway, garage, or the door to your unit. We don’t carry items inside your home or apartment.
