Yes — most of our DC deliveries are exactly that. Capitol Hill rowhouses and Shaw or Columbia Heights walk-ups are our normal drop. We roll the bins to your entrance on dollies. If they need to go up interior flights and you’d rather we carry them, tell us at checkout; otherwise leave a note and we’ll set them at the door.

Do I need a residential parking permit for the delivery truck in DC?

We don’t pull permits for you. Many DC blocks are residential permit parking, so a clear spot near your entrance makes the drop faster. If your street fills early or needs a visitor pass, sort that ahead of your window. For a bigger move, a DDOT temporary no-parking / moving permit for the curb helps — worth arranging in advance.

Does my condo building need a certificate of insurance and a freight elevator slot?

Many Navy Yard, Dupont, and downtown condo towers ask movers for a certificate of insurance and a booked freight-elevator window before move day. How far across the DMV do you deliver — does that include Virginia and Maryland?

Delivery and pickup are included within our standard DMV service radius, which covers the District plus close-in suburbs like Arlington, Alexandria, Bethesda, and Silver Spring. If your address sits well past that zone, we’ll quote the added time and mileage up front before you book — no surprise charge after the move.

What if my building only has stairs, no elevator?

If our team carries bins up or down stairs, it’s a $10-per-flight charge — worth knowing for a Shaw walk-up or an older Adams Morgan building. Handling the stairs yourself? Say so at checkout and there’s no fee. Either way, tell us the setup so the driver shows up prepared for the flights.

Can you reach a narrow street in a historic district like Georgetown?

Yes. Georgetown’s older blocks and the tighter streets around Capitol Hill can be a squeeze for a truck, so a clear spot near your door makes the hand-off quick. Let us know in your delivery notes if the street is one-way, cobbled, or hard to stop on, and the driver will plan the approach around it.
