Can you deliver to a student apartment or a complex in San Marcos?

Some San Marcos complexes near the university ask for a certificate of insurance and scheduled elevator or gate access before move day. Stack delivers the bins, so clear the window with your leasing office and we drop off inside it. Set it up a few days ahead, especially around lease turnover.

Do the bins hold up in the heat and Hill Country rain?

Better than cardboard. Summer humidity softens a box fast; the sealed bins keep their shape. When a Hill Country storm dumps sudden rain, the latching lids keep your things dry between the door and the truck.

How far around Hays County do you deliver?

Delivery and pickup are included across the county, from San Marcos out to Kyle, Buda, Wimberley, and Dripping Springs. If your address sits well past the county, we’ll quote the extra mileage up front, before you book.

Do I need to arrange parking for delivery?

In San Marcos or a Kyle subdivision a driveway or a clear curb spot is usually enough. On a rural Wimberley or Dripping Springs property with a long drive, tell us at booking so the driver plans the drop. We don’t pull permits, so sort access first.

How many bins do I need for an apartment versus a house?

A one-bedroom near San Marcos usually fits our Studio or 1-Bedroom bundle. A full house in Kyle or Dripping Springs needs more. Between sizes? Size up. Returning a few empty bins beats running short mid-move.

Is there a delivery or pick-up fee in Hays?

Stack charges a delivery and pickup fee based on your distance if you’re within a certain radius of Hays. If delivery and/or pick-up is outside of Hays zone, just let us know and we will provide the cost of gas & time.

Do I need to be present for delivery + pick-up?

Yes, in most cases someone over the age of 18 needs to be present to sign for and accept the delivery of moving box rentals in Hays. If for some reason you will not be present, let us know in advance and we may be able to work out a special delivery if there is a safe space to leave the boxes and dollies.

How big are the bins?

Each standard size bin is equivalent to a large cardboard box and measures 27” by 17” at the top, 24.5” by 14.5” at the bottom, and 13” tall. In our experience, this is the perfect size box for any Hays move!

What happens if I want to extend my rental?

No problem! Simply let our Hays team know before the pick-up date that you need to extend the rental window, and by how long, and we’ll make it happen. You will simply be charged extra for every week that you keep the boxes beyond what you’ve already paid for.

What is the cancellation policy?

You can cancel your order anytime up to 48 hours before the pre-scheduled delivery date for free. If you need to cancel within less than 48 hours notice, there is a $50 convenience fee. If you have already received the boxes and need to cancel your order post-delivery, that is fine too, we simply charge a $99 re-stocking fee.

Does Stack deliver inside my home?
Nope! Stack is a door to door delivery service. That means we drop off your items at the nearest accessible point outside your home or apartment—typically your driveway, garage, or the door to your unit. We don’t carry items inside your home or apartment.
