Can you deliver to a downtown or Channelside high-rise?

Most towers around downtown Tampa and Channelside ask for a certificate of insurance and a booked freight elevator or loading dock before move day. Stack drops the bins off, so reserve your window with building management and we deliver inside it. Book the slot early, since move-in days fill up fast.

Do the bins hold up in Tampa’s heat and humidity?

Better than cardboard does. A box left out in an August afternoon goes soft and loses its shape; the sealed plastic bins don’t sag. During hurricane season from June through November, the latching lids also keep a sudden downpour off your things on the way to the truck.

How far around Tampa do you deliver?

Delivery and pickup are included across the Tampa area, from downtown and South Tampa out to Brandon, Riverview, and Plant City. If your address sits well past the metro, we’ll quote the extra mileage up front, before you book, never after.

How many bins do I need for an apartment versus a house?

A studio or one-bedroom near downtown usually fits our Studio or 1-Bedroom bundle. A three or four-bedroom house in South Tampa or Brandon needs more. Between sizes? Size up. Returning a few empty bins beats running short mid-move.

Do I need to arrange parking for the delivery truck?

On tight streets in Hyde Park or Ybor, a clear spot near the entrance makes drop-off quick. We don’t pull parking permits for you, so sort a spot or a loading zone with your building ahead of your window. An open driveway or a held space by the door works best.

Is there a delivery or pick-up fee in Tampa?

Stack charges a delivery and pickup fee based on your distance if you’re within a certain radius of Tampa. If delivery and/or pick-up is outside of Tampa zone, just let us know and we will provide the cost of gas & time.

Do I need to be present for delivery + pick-up?

Yes, in most cases someone over the age of 18 needs to be present to sign for and accept the delivery of moving box rentals in Tampa. If for some reason you will not be present, let us know in advance and we may be able to work out a special delivery if there is a safe space to leave the boxes and dollies.

How big are the bins?

Each standard size bin is equivalent to a large cardboard box and measures 27” by 17” at the top, 24.5” by 14.5” at the bottom, and 13” tall. In our experience, this is the perfect size box for any Tampa move!

What happens if I want to extend my rental?

No problem! Simply let our Tampa team know before the pick-up date that you need to extend the rental window, and by how long, and we’ll make it happen. You will simply be charged extra for every week that you keep the boxes beyond what you’ve already paid for.

What is the cancellation policy?

You can cancel your order anytime up to 48 hours before the pre-scheduled delivery date for free. If you need to cancel within less than 48 hours notice, there is a $50 convenience fee. If you have already received the boxes and need to cancel your order post-delivery, that is fine too, we simply charge a $99 re-stocking fee.

Does Stack deliver inside my home?
Nope! Stack is a door to door delivery service. That means we drop off your items at the nearest accessible point outside your home or apartment—typically your driveway, garage, or the door to your unit. We don’t carry items inside your home or apartment.
